Prior to joining the firm of Eisenstadt Law, Attorney Krippendorf was renowned as one of the top prosecutors in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
As an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Homicide Unit, he exclusively prosecuted cases of murder and manslaughter. He utilized grand jury to investigate deaths and murders and tried homicide cases in jury trials in the Superior Court. As a homicide prosecutor, Attorney Krippendorf became an expert in criminology and scientific testing including ballistics and firearms; forensics and trace evidence; DNA; fingerprint evidence; and all other crime lab testing, results, and protocol.
Prior to working as a homicide prosecutor, Attorney Krippendorf was assigned to the Suffolk County Senior Trial Team. There, he prosecuted complex criminal cases including homicides and other serious violent offenses. He prepared cases for trial by organizing voluminous materials, interviewing witnesses, and conducting investigations. He was also assigned to the Narcotics Unit where he handled cases of drug offenses including trafficking, conspiracy, and intricate drug distribution enterprises. As a prosecutor in the Narcotics Unit, he became very experienced in the law surrounding search warrants and warrantless searches. He uses that experience to now help clients that have been subjected to unlawful search and seizure by law enforcement.
Prior to his work in the Homicide and Narcotics units, Attorney Krippendorf also numerous other criminal offenses in Superior, District, and Municipal Courts including crimes of violence, property crimes, drug offenses, firearms offenses, motor vehicle offenses, domestic violence cases, and drug offenses.
Prior to beginning his career as a criminal lawyer, Edward Krippendorf worked for years as a criminal investigator. He had investigative responsibilities for hundreds of cases being prosecuted in the Superior Court and District Court of Suffolk County. He acted as liaison between the Assistant District Attorneys and law enforcement agencies including Massachusetts State Police, Boston Police, and various federal authorities. As an investigator, attorney Krippendorf attained expertise in conducting comprehensive general felony investigations including crime scene photographs, victim and witness location and interviews, defense witness and alibi investigation, service of process, and subpoena documents as well as becoming an expert in DNA, Ballistics, Fingerprint, and Drug Lab evidence.
