Drug Court

We recently had a client in the South Boston drug court who was facing imminent jail time on a drug case. We managed to work a disposition to avoid any jail time if the client successfully completes the South Boston drug court. The Suffolk County drug court in South Boston is being utilized as an alternative to incarcerating non-violent drug offenders.

We’ve dealt with many drug courts throughout the Commonwealth and have found the South Boston drug court to be one of the most successful. Drug court defendants, after detoxification, have to go through comprehensive treatment and continually share their experiences with the other defendants in drug court, the judge, and drug court staff.

Those that make it to the graduation in the South Boston drug court not only have made a significant personal achievement (as well as avoided jail, of course) but many have continued on the sober and arrest-free path.
